I have 2 degrees in exercise science and countless certifications in yoga, fitness, and dance. Even with my background, I remember when I found out that I was pregnant the first time, I really wanted a lot more information on what was safe in terms of movement during pregnancy. I found some great resources, but I knew that there was some info missing too. I set out to find out everything that I needed to know and became a little obsessed with the topic.
Flash-forward to today, I’ve been teaching pre and post natal yoga for nine years and I’m so happy share my knowledge with folks who wish to become pre and post natal yoga teachers, and yoga teachers that want to keep their pregnant students safe & empowered throughout pregnancy and beyond. I recently finished writing a manual for yoga teachers, midwives, doulas, birth professionals, and pregnant women. Check out some of the images from the new manual. Also, I am a registered continuing education provider with Yoga Alliance, so if you need to register hours, this course is a great choice for expanding your knowledge.
In August, I will be teaching a 25 hour pre and post natal yoga teacher training at You & the Mat in Orange County. The OC August training is fantastic for folks that need to knock it all out in one weekend. Would love to have you join me for a super fun weekend of knowledge, friendship, and of course lots of yoga.More Info – August Training
If you are in LA, or if it is better for you to spread it out over two weekends because of family or work commitments, then please join me in October at Yogaworks in Playa Vista. Please log onto Yogaworks’ website for more info and to register.More Info – October Training
The Yogaworks studio is absolutely gorgeous and there’s tons of parking which as you know can be rare in LA. Whatever works best for you I can’t wait to see you!
